The Environment in the News

On Fridays, starting in the third quarter, each student in my Environmental Science class is responsible for bringing in a recent news article to class. The article can be from any recent news source and must describe an environmental issue that does not focus primarily on the effect on humans. Some examples of past news have included: migrating whooping cranes, mercury levels in local waterways, wind farming and endangered sea turtles.
